About Me

I have always had a passion for numbers and after completing my degree in Mathematics I decided teaching was the way forward for me.  I spent 16 years teaching Maths to 11-18 years olds working my way up to Head of Department.  I loved seeing others develop a flare and passion for the subject going on to achieve outstanding results.  But more than this I loved helping pupils who had a fear of Maths - helping them develop strategies to overcome their fear of numbers was my biggest accomplishment in teaching.

Alongside this I spent 10 years working on the finance side of my husband's business.  However, with three young children at home and realising the need for flexible working hours, I decided a change in career was needed.  There was never a question of what next, I have always enjoyed bookkeeping and accounts so I decided to take voluntary redundancy from teaching and went back to school.

I am now a fully qualified ICB bookkeeper and own my own bookkeeping practice.  I really enjoy being on a journey with my clients and seeing the potential and growth in their businesses.  I will collaborate with you to understand your needs and provide tailored solutions that will remove any headache you may have with your bookkeeping and accounting tasks.
